What you'll test
Some of it we pour ourselves in Cape Coral, Florida. Some comes from lure makers we work with. All of it gets fished by real anglers before we decide what's worth making.
Soft plastics
Worms, craws, and creature baits, including colors poured in our own shop.
Frogs and topwater
Frogs for the slop, plus poppers and walking baits for that early morning bite.
Hard baits
Crankbaits, jerkbaits, and swimbaits, often in early or limited runs.
Wired baits
Spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and bladed jigs.

Questions anglers ask
What's the catch?
No catch. Before a bait goes into a full run, we want honest feedback from real anglers. You get the bait, we get your opinion.
Does it cost anything?
Test baits are free, you just cover shipping, and you'll see the shipping cost before you claim. To join, you pick up an official Tackle Tester decal, and you'll see that price before you pay too.
Is Rebel Angler legit?
Yes. We're a real tackle company in Cape Coral, Florida, and more than 26,000 anglers have joined the program. Read more about who we are.
What kind of baits will I test?
Soft plastics, frogs, hard baits, and wired baits, mostly for bass. We match offers to what you tell us when you apply.
How often do new test baits come out?
New test offers go out by email, usually every week. Claim the ones that fit how you fish and skip the rest.
What if a bait doesn't work for me?
Tell us. That's some of the most useful feedback we get, and you still keep the bait.
How do I stop the emails?
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list.
